MY Story
Seeing Differently
Most people think photography is about what the eye sees. For me, it’s about what the heart feels.
I live with Macular Atrophy, Myopia, and Nystagmus—conditions that mean I am legally blind. While some might see this as a barrier to a visual art form, I see it as my greatest strength. My world isn't defined by sharp edges and standard perspectives; it’s defined by light, shadow, movement, and the raw emotion of a moment.
My Process
Because my eyes work differently, my photography focuses on the things others often overlook:
• The Play of Light: I am drawn to high-contrast environments and the way light dances across a surface.
• The Feeling of a Space: I rely on my other senses and my intuition to know exactly when a moment "feels" right to capture.
• Intentional Perspective: My nystagmus and myopia mean I’ve spent my life adapting. This translates into a shooting style that is patient, deliberate, and deeply personal.
Why I Do This
I picked up a camera to show the world how I see it. Every photo I take is an invitation to look past the "perfect" image and find the soul underneath. When you work with me, you aren't just getting a gallery of photos; you’re getting a unique translation of your most important memories, captured through a lens of resilience and Wander.
